Ayanat is a famous Kazakh American actress, fashion designer and humanitarian.
Ayanat starred in a number of major motion pictures including an epic film titled “Nomad the Warrior” produced by the great Milos Forman and directed by Ivan Passer and Sergei Bodrov. Ayanat also played a lead role in highly acclaimed motion picture drama, “Ulzhan” directed by an Oscar winning German director, Volker Schlöndorff. Ayanat’s latest film titled “About Mannequin” contended for Oscars 2024. Along with starring in the film she also acts as a producer and a costume designer.
As a fashion designer, Ayanat launched her first fashion collection in New York City in 2016 as part of the New York Fashion Week under “Ayanat New York” and since then Ayanat NY brand has been operating in New York.
As a humanitarian, Ayanat has established a charity organization, U.S. Kazakh Women Alliance through which she and her colleagues work to assist underserved women and single mothers in Kazakhstan and Central Asia to help women in need explore their full potential and obtain necessary skills to improve their quality of life.
